Over 65 years ago, accessAbilities began serving children and adults faced with life-long challenges. Today, we face a different challenge…and we face it with the same mission to help and support those in need.
accessAbilities is committed to the health, safety and well-being of those we serve, our staff and the community. Please know that the Agency is continually adapting to direction from state and national officials as updates are received.
We are dedicated to continuing to serve by providing continuity of care related to the identified “life-sustaining” services. These are challenging times for our Nation, but together we can persevere during these unprecedented times.

Health & Safety
At accessAbilities, the health, safety and well-being of those served and staff is the Agency’s number one priority. accessAbilities COVID-19 Response Team is meeting regularly to coordinate and adapt to changes associateed with the pandemic. The following outlines several implemented precautions:

First Steps Early Intervention
accessAbilities First Steps Early Intervention program offers tele-services (tele-intervention) through Zoom Enterprise. Currently enrolled families in First Steps Early Intervention can receive services through online options. For information call 724-832-8272.
Home & Community Services
accessAbilities continues to provide direct care for adults with physical, developmental and intellectual disabilities through its Home & Community Services program.
Hiring Now for “Life-Sustaining” Services
accessAbilities continues to provide “life-sustaining” services and is actively hiring. During the COVID-19 Pandemic, accessAbilities takes precautions and supplies Personal Protective Equipment when necessary while following the Centers for Disease Control and the Pennsylvania Department of Health guidelines for a safe and healthy environment.
