Diana has been receiving In-Home and Community Supports from accessAbilities since 2017, and this year marked a significant milestone in her life: moving into a new apartment in Greensburg.
With the help of her amazing care team, Diana’s transition was seamless. Staff assisted with every step, from touring apartments and signing the lease to packing, unpacking, and transferring utilities. They even helped update her ID and move her Meals on Wheels delivery, so nothing was overlooked.
Diana shared that this move would not have been possible without “all of her girls” at accessAbilities. She is now settled and happy in her new home, with a caring team that includes Bethany, Lisa, Alice, Jennie, Taylor, and Supervisor Jenn, who make sure all her health and safety needs are met every day.
A special thank-you to Jennie for donating a beautiful table and chair set for Diana’s kitchen! It’s now her favorite spot for meals and daily routines. 💙
Recently, Diana attended accessAbilities’ “Independence Day” celebration, where she enjoyed the festivities and spent time socializing with friends and staff. Events like these are just one more way her care team helps her stay connected and active in the community.
