The accessAbilitities team also works to provide socialization such as activities like participation in bowling leagues or church choirs; and community volunteer opportunities at churches or other non-profit organizations such as the Blind Association.
Respite Care
Short-term services are available for participants providing temporary support for their family and/or caregivers. Feeling confident that a loved one is being provided quality and compassionate care for daily personal assistance needs can allow the family and/or caregiver precious time to recharge and energize to continue with daily care responsibilities.
Companion Services
Often, people with disabilities just need someone near to focus on their health and safety. accessAbilities Attendants provide companion services giving individuals the opportunity to participate in community and home activities in a healthy and safe environment. The simplest activities such as going to a park, museum or just playing a game of cards can help with isolation by providing companionship and joy.

Instruction about how to use transportation services, shopping and other necessary activities of community life are available.
